Backseat Rally XP Goal Calculator and Account Levels

Last updated:

Plan your next account level or car unlock using your current XP bar and expected XP per run. The calculator estimates the remaining XP and completed runs needed for the thresholds you enter.

Subtract your current-level XP from the total account XP thresholds needed to reach your goal, with a minimum result of zero. Divide the remaining XP by your expected XP per run and round up to a whole run. At account Level 5 with 154/340 XP, the next level is 186 XP away. Use account progress, not car mastery.

Estimate XP and runs to the next level or a custom goal using user-supplied account thresholds.

Remaining XP = max(0, total required thresholds − current-level XP). Estimated runs = ceil(remaining XP ÷ expected XP per run).

  • For the next level, enter the threshold shown on the current account XP bar.
  • For a higher goal, supply the sum of thresholds from the current level through the level before the goal.
  • Current XP means progress within the current account level, not lifetime XP or car mastery.
  • The run estimate assumes the user-entered XP per run stays constant.
  • Initial values are editable planning examples, not level presets.

Read Account XP Separately from Car Mastery

Completing stages earns account XP toward the player levels used to unlock cars. On the Rewards screen, read the account level and XP bar at the upper left. The numerator is XP already earned within that level; the denominator is the threshold for advancing to the next one.

The Alpine Pass result below shows two separate progress bars:

Progress Level XP within that level
Account 5 154/340 XP
Freccia HF mastery 2 154/400 XP

For an account-level goal, enter 154 as current XP and 340 as the next-level threshold. The mastery bar on the right belongs to Freccia HF and uses its own threshold. See car mastery and performance parts for that progression path.

Rewards screen showing account Level 5 at 154/340 XP on the left and Freccia HF mastery Level 2 at 154/400 XP on the right.

Calculate XP and Runs to Your Goal

Use the calculator for either your next level or a higher target whose intervening thresholds you can supply.

  1. Enter XP within your current level from the numerator of your account bar. Use progress within this level, not lifetime XP.
  2. Enter Total thresholds to the goal. For the next level, use the bar's denominator. For a higher target, add the threshold for each level you must complete, starting with your current level and ending with the level immediately before your goal.
  3. Enter Expected account XP per run as a positive amount you expect to earn on each planned run.
  4. Read XP remaining and Estimated runs. The run count rounds up because a fraction of a run still requires another finish.

The estimate assumes your entered XP per run stays constant. Replace the initial planning values with your own inputs; they are not preset level requirements. A target level or car name alone does not supply the thresholds needed for a calculation.

Use the Right Threshold and Reward Assumption

At Level 5 with 154/340 XP, reaching Level 6 requires 340 − 154 = 186 XP. For a Level 10 goal from that same position, add the account thresholds for Levels 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9, then subtract 154 once. Each threshold covers the advance from that level to the next; do not multiply the current threshold by the number of levels remaining.

For repeat-run planning, base your XP-per-run input on rewards you expect to keep earning. Exclude First Gold, Daily First, and contract-completion XP when those bonuses will not recur on every planned run. Include performance bonuses only if you expect to meet their conditions consistently.

After a run with an extra bonus, update your current account progress and estimate the remaining runs again. The CR and XP rewards guide explains reward eligibility and where to find contract objectives.

Level-Up Rewards and Car Unlock Goals

Account level-ups can also award CR. The rewards below apply to reaching Levels 4 and 5 during an Alpine Pass result that advanced the account from Level 3 to Level 5.

For early car goals, aim for:

  • Level 3 — Freccia HF: your first level-unlocked car after the starting Orso 4.
  • Level 6 — Saetta HF: an early C-class target.
  • Level 10 — Kaze RS: a later B-class target.

Open My Garage → Change Car to check the requirement on your target car. Use the full car directory for all unlock levels and specifications, or the early progression car recommendations to decide which goal fits your current needs.

  • Level 4 Reward

    Account level reached
    4 level
    Credits awarded
120 CR (Account progression example from Level 3 to Level 5.)
  • Level 5 Reward

    Account level reached
    5 level
    Credits awarded
130 CR (Account progression example from Level 3 to Level 5.)
