Backseat Rally Air Fresheners: Collection, Rewards and Equipping

Browse Stock, Black Tree, and the Pine, Snowflake and Blossom designs below. Search by name to find a particular freshener, or use the rarity filter to narrow the collection.

For a simple tree silhouette, choose Black Tree. If you prefer a green pine printed on a silver tag, choose Silver Pine. Preview an unlocked design in the car to judge how it looks beneath the mirror before confirming your choice.

Aim for a gold medal on Alpine Pass to collect its Snowflake fresheners. A gold-medal finish can unlock all three together when they are still locked—you do not need to plan three separate finishes just to reproduce that result.

The Rewards screen uses stage-based names for these collection entries:

After finishing, check Rewards for the newly unlocked fresheners, then return to the garage to equip your choice. For the target time and help calculating your gap, use the gold medal times guide. For travel and route information, see Alpine Pass in the stages guide.

Have the freshener unlocked before trying to equip it. A padlock marks an option you have not unlocked.

To replace Black Tree with Silver Pine:

1. Press C to open My Garage.
2. Choose Customize, or press 1.
3. Open the Freshener tab. Use Q/E to switch tabs if needed.
4. Select Silver Pine. Its silver tag with a green pine appears beneath the rear-view mirror. The yellow selection border marks the preview; Black Tree keeps its green check until you confirm the change.
5. Click Equip or press Enter. Check that Silver Pine now has the green check and the button reads Equipped. Black Tree's check disappears.
6. Press Backspace to go back when you are finished.

Use the same sequence for another unlocked freshener. Seeing a different hanging design in the preview alone does not complete the change—confirm it before leaving the menu.
